Strong in elegant construction
The Signature 700 series active subwoofer is very good at hiding because it also has a black or white front and satin finish in the same color. Even more interesting is the technology inside, as the 300mm woofer radiates downwards in a “down-firing” configuration. The long throw frame has been optimized using Klippel laser measurement technology. A highly efficient class D amplifier drives the subwoofer with 190 or 380 watts of continuous/music power respectively. The Signature Sub 730 A can reproduce powerful sounds down to 19 Hz, and the volume and crossover frequency can be fine-tuned for the room acoustics and the main speakers being used.
The 700 series completes the premium category in the Signature range. It combines the sound qualities of the larger models with elegant, stylish cabinets and a timeless visual appearance. The technical components used are also of the best variety: In addition to the legendary Hi-Res certified dual tweeter unit, the speakers also feature ceramic / aluminum bass cones and medium frequencies.

The harmonics that are so important to the overall sound impression and are largely responsible for how we perceive a sound, also unfold in amplitudes above 20,000 Hz. This fact is taken into account by the dual tweeter system, which, in addition to a 30 mm tweeter, also incorporates a second 20 mm dome fmax tweeter in a specially designed aluminum front panel. The duo works harmoniously at the highest frequencies and is able to reproduce even the best harmonic shades, which has been certified by the Japan Audio Society with the Hi-Res approval seal.
The cones used for bass and medium range frequencies are made of no less sophisticated composite material, ie an aluminum / ceramic combination. This combines low weight with maximum strength, as the materials have different tuning frequencies and thus amplify each other, regardless of the frequencies being played. Non-magnetic die-cast aluminum speaker baskets secure the speakers and drive firmly in place, while the voice coil ventilation ensures high load capacity. Of course, all speakers are optimized using Klippel laser measurement technology.
A TIMELESS OUTDOOR WITH AMAZING CONSTRUCTION
The exterior of the Signature 700 Series is perfectly crafted and is timeless and elegant at the same time. The sturdy MDF cabinet is internally braced in multiple locations to prevent any trace of disruptive vibration. The baffle is screwed into place in six different places. All speakers in the series – including the active subwoofer – are available in white & black. The baffle is finished in the finest high-gloss finish, while the cabinet features a matching satin finish. This makes it resistant to wear and tear. The removable fabric mask is held in place with magnets, meaning there are no visible attachment points to disrupt the overall look. Resonance-absorbing rubber feet also ensure a stoic calm to the speakers.
